John, I was around Y-town for you first 3 albums. Still play them. I just love "Southbound" which is my unofficial travel anthem. I just started to play the song acoustically this weekend and would love to have the real chords. If you could post those I'll be singin' Southbound, although with not nearly the fine harmonies! Thanks, Rick

John,Iv'e been trying to style my drum playing after you ,Phil, and Dan>Glass Harps 1st 2 albums since I was 14. Do you use a Ludwig Speed King/w/strap to get that one foot roll on the bass. I did and I loved it Thanx brother for the style. Would love to hear from you. Peace,Love and Tranquilty. Admin reply: Hi David, I don't use a Speed King any more. For about 15 years now. I use a standard pedal by Yamaha. It has a chain drive. I still have a few Speed Kings and you've inspired me to break one out and try them again. I remember they had a balance to them that gave a lot of power as well as speed. It will be interesting to see how they feel to me after so many years. John

Hi John, It was great to see the "FUZZ" at Newton Falls. Nancy & I really miss ya'll. We are asking for prayers for our brother, Brian Olzak. We just found out yesterday that he has 2 aortic valves instead of 3. One is leaking. Not ready for that surgery yet. His spleen is dying. Don't know why. He also has asthma! Didn't know that either. His lungs are at 50% capability. That won't get much better. A team of Dr.'s is working on him at St. E's. Thanks for saying, "Have you tried praying?" a few years ago. I have been ever since. It works! Listening to your music, and to Glass Harp really helps us. Sometimes it's better than church. Hope all is well with you. If we aren't around that's why. Thanks John, Nancy & Laurie Admin reply: Brian is our prayers. God Bless

Hello John, my name is Martin from The Netherlands and I really like your performance on drums, from the age of 15 year an next week I will be 48. I saw you performing on the Glass Harp life dvd, with Dan and Phil in 'Can You See Me' and your incredible solo's on drums. You let me know that all things happening outside there it will be not important anymore. Thanks and God's blessings Admin reply: Thanks for the kind words Martin!

I really like the new live cd.I wondered if you would ever or even could put the concert at the Akron civic or state theater that I took my wife to see G.H. for her first time in 96 or 97.I think you played two nights in a row and we saw you on the second night. You came out and opened with "This Boy",by the Beatles. We were totally blown away.I hadn't seen the band for over 20 years.I know it was filmed as I saw cameras.Anyway, thanks for all the great years of music!! I got the new one yesterday and love it!!
